total newb....help?!?

Ok, this is probably something quite simple....I am trying to make a slideshow if photos of my kiddo's first year. All of that went fine, but I am not able to add music to it. My ITunes apparently is not in the correct format & will not let me convert it at all. So I downloaded a song from ITunes (paid for it) thinking that would work, and it says it won't accept it. So I tried to download from walmart music, and it says that it is copy protected and cannot be used. Where can I find a particular song that it will let me use??

Fred,we try to not recommend that on these boards.Limewire is a P2P file sharing network and the music on there is deemed illegal by the record industry.I'm not saying they'll get you but they might.It's happened to others.

It's also a good way to pick up viruses and malware

Both iTunes and Walmart use DRM.This keeps the music from being copied or used for a purpose other then it was intended.MyDVD will not accept any tracks like this.About the only thing you can do with these tracks is burn them to a cd with the program it was downloaded with,iTunes or WMP.

Is there a program out there that will allow me to download a song for this? Or am I limited to purchasing the disk?
