Need help with RecordNow 7

Vicente

Question

I have only one disk tray, so when I want to copy a DVD the software (Record Now) tells me that it will make a temporal copy of the disk in my computer, so I leave enough space for it, but when I tried to copy another DVD immediately after the first one, it said that there wasn't any more space left in my computer.

What I would like to know is how do I erase the previous temp. copy of the DVD, since before I had 6gb and now I have only 2. I've searched on the site for answers as well as in the manual but I can't find anything that could help me.

Do a search on your drive using the wildcard *.* and then using date as a filter (that is, search all files modified on mm/dd/yyyy where the date was the day the files were copied). Check the Advanced Options too. Look for the path for files that start with VOB in their filenames.

The data is usually located in the following location but it can differ from version to version. Check here first: C:\Documents and Settings\KevinJ\Application Data\Sonic\RecordNow! (or something similar depending on version, and replace KevinJ with your username)

You may have to go to Tools, Folder options, View, Show hidden Files and Folders and press OK.

I did that and found the files!, thank you all for the help.

Glad you found them. You might consider getting a 2nd drive.Between the Page file and temp files when doing video work 6Gb is not a lot of empty drive space. You might find that your machine will run a little better if you were to get a 2nd drive and direct all your video work to it.
