Hello. I just upgraded to os 10.4.8 on my imac. I have an 800 MHZ Power PC G4 with 1 gb sdram. I am also using Quicktime7.1.3. I have never used toast before and just purchased and installed Titanium. I have been trying to burn an enhanced cd using the instruction manual. I do exactly what it says about adding the quicktime video in the Data folder and the audio tracks in the Audio folder. It shows that both are there and when I go to burn my disc, it gets all the way to preparing and then my whole computer freezes and the multi colored pinwheel starts spinning forever. Force quit won't work and I have to hold the start button down. It has done this 4 times in a row. I burned a regular cd without the quicktime video and it was fine.

The video is only a minute long so I have it as full dv quality. I do not know if that does anything....thanks for any help

I thought maybe it was because I was using memorex so I bought a different brand, but that didn't work either. The error for the memorex cd-r was

error

sense key=illegal request

sense code=0x24

invalid field in cdb

for maxell cd-r

sense key=Hardware error

sense code =0x09, 0x01

Tracking Servo Failure

Do you know what this means?

My drive is Hl-dt-st DVD-RW GCA-4020 B.

I finally got a copy to burn after turning off the cd text. Thanks. What a simple answer.

I now need to do some research about how to make an enhanced cd usable in both a PC and a Mac.

Any tips?
