when I print a DVD case my print is in halfe size, why?

I think I have the same problem here. At least: when I try to print a jewelcase, the length is okay, but the width is half it's size. If you should already know how to fix this, please, let me know.

Hello!

Let me join the club. I have the same problem. I did decides to trash EMC 8 - it is so bad and contains so many problems - from conflicting with other first class software - to holding a Laben Creator which is useless. Totally useless! - they wont even bother to offer you a regular technical support.

 

There must be companies doing better software and a better job - caring about their customers. The once so admirable ADAPTEC is history.They DID great software!!!!!!

Seems like sooo many people are having similar problems with printing their labels. It all worked absolutely perfectly in ECDC platinum. I just cannot believe they've "enhanced" it (to use the computer world's euphamism for screwing it up), then charge a good few pounds for a new enhanced version that does not seem to work.

Printing outlines (cut & fold lines) doesn't work for me despite checking the box in the print dialog, and my disc labels come out about 50% size. As for alignment with generic stock - don't even go there.

Roxio - it was never broke - please un-fix it so we can all use it, and quickly please.

Roxio (Sonic) have very strange support, but when I installed the Hotfix/Patatrox almost everything is Ok.

Label Creator 8 - Unable To Select Multiple Print Areas On Commercial Paper Types

 

The information in this article applies to:

Easy Media Creator 8

 

Applicable Operating Systems:

Windows 2000 Professional

Windows XP Home / Pro / Media Center

Windows XP Professional x64 Edition

 

Issue:

When printing disc labels to commercial paper types with multiple printable areas, you are unable to select which of the printable areas should be used and print them.

 

Solution:

 

Please close Label Creator and then follow the instructions below.

 

1. Install Label Creator Hotfix

 

Download and install the Label Creator hotfix from the following location:

http://tools.roxio.com/support/c8/lc8hotfix.exe

 

2. How to select multiple label types

 

a. Launch Label Creator and create your project. Ensure you have selected the correct paper type by going to the pulldown "File" menu and choosing "Page Setup"

 

b. Once your project has been created, click on "File" and then "Print"

 

c. The "Print" dialogue box will appear

 

d. In the "Print Preview" area you will be able to click on multiple areas that exist for your selected commercial paper type and specify which areas of your project will be printed on. You may also choose multiple areas to print to.

1. When making, previewing and printing Disc Layouts, everything works

-On Standard paper or

-Neato A4 CD LABELS - 2UP

(but maybe only with the Upper layout!)

 

2. When making, previewing and printing Booklet Layouts (Standard A4 paper)

-Edit works

-Nothing happens when you try to preview it

-You get 100% x 50% (W x H) result when you try to print The Layout

 

 

3. When making, previewing and printing Back Layouts (Standard A4 paper)

-Edit works

-Nothing happens when you try to preview it

-You get strange (W x H) result when you try to print The Layout

 

 

4. Printer settings will be lost everytime when I change some function and I get wrong settings instead.

 

So, do you have same troubles and what to do?
