posmindset
Is that for iPod use? no, it's a audio/vid that I want to listen to in my car. Why do you ask?
gi7omy
Sorry - I read it backwards Anyway - I'm not 100% certain of converting mpeg4 to mp3 - I checked on the audio settings and found: In the Capture Settings box, select the format of the imported audio file. You can choose from the following formats: WAV: Windows Audio File MP3 (good quality): MP3 file with the compression of 192 Kbps MP3 (low quality): MP3 file with the compression of 96 Kbps WMA (good quality): Windows Media Audio file with the compression of 128 Kbps WMA (low quality): Windows Media Audio file with the compression of 64 Kbps Custom: This option lets you apply your own combination of settings, including an alternate file format, encoder type, bit rate, and file location. To define custom settings, click Edit (see the following step). Optional: To customize additional options, click Edit. The Output Settings dialog box appears. For more information, click Help in this dialog box. Maybe someone else can pick up on this and say whether or not it will work but I doubt it (mpeg4 are audio/video and the audio track would have to be ripped) There are converters available if you google for it but there's a free one here
Beerman
I'm not sure if Sound Editor can convert mpeg4 audio. Where are you getting this file from? It might be possible in Videowave. If you don't have 9 yet, download the trial and try it out or if you have a file, send me a PM for my email address and I'll let you send me the file to try myself. fifi
If your music are protected, then you cannot use iTunes to convert it. You may need to use converter program to do this. Personally, I recommend XXXXXXX Can't talk about other programs for that purpose, at this site.
