Thankyou for the advise, what i did was get the pot luck, then added it on to my production and then when back to software. In hardware mode, Videowave/MyDVD 9 actually uses the GPU (graphics processor) to render the video. If your video chipset does not support this DirectX command, render will lock up. This is why we keep saying that EMC 9 needs a better video card. The video chip is used for more than just display. If you did the graphics test and the 'dot' remained on software afterwards, most likely your video card does NOT support this feature.
