Add support for Apple Remote to Toast Video Player

Minckster

Question

Please add support for the Apple Remote to Toast Video Player. The project should be relatively easy since Elgato's EyeTV already supports the Apple Remote and is the basis for Toast Video Player. Incorporating EyeTV's full-screen menu would be a good idea as well. TiVo files on my Mac are nearly worthless without the Apple Remote.

By the way, DVD Assist provides a method to launch EyeTV -- and potentially Toast Video Player -- from within Front Row, which would be nicer still.

Agreed!

Right now the only way to get my TiVo content to display in Front Row (and thus work with the remote) is to export it for iPod (a process which takes a PAINFULLY long time on even my brand new MacBook) and then import into iTunes. At which point I've now degraded the quality of my original TiVo recording even further!
