buring mpeg-4 itunes tvshows to dvd?

Is there a way to burn itunes tv shows to dvd so I can watch them on my dvd player vs my laptop. The laptop is nice but a 36 inch tv with surround sound would be far better for watching movies I payed for. So far when I attempt to put the mpeg-4 files into toast it tells the format is unknown. Can anyone give me some enlightenment on this subject?

Toast can't accept copy protected files which is everything sold in the iTunes Store. What you'll need is an AppleTV when it comes out in a few weeks. Or get or use your laptop's S-video adapter to connect the laptop directly to the TV.
