Pan and zoom editor not there

Mom

Question

I've installed Roxio Creator 8.2xe with cineplayer.

I'm attempting to use VideoWave. I've added my photos. Now I'm trying to add the pan and zoom effect. I right click on the photo go to edit and ..... There is no "pan and zoom editor." My brother's version has this.

What's wrong?

Thanks for the help.

Probably not. We bought them at different times. I bought mine off Amazon this week.

Are there upgrades available or anything?

You will have to buy a "upgrade"

From an earlier post by fellow user Larry:

There are at least 5 or 6 variants of v 8 products (retail ones) plus some limited functionality "basic" ones that people got with hardware or sytems.

If all you are doing is working with data for burning, any of the EMC 8 suites will suffice (avoid the standalone Videowave's, Photsuites, MyDVD's lines).

If you are also wanting to do video work, you'll want the EMC 8 Deluxe Suite

Try before you buy! Go to the V9 board and download the free trial of V9. Many people think that V9 solves some problems that existed in V8. You'll be able to try Version 9 of your computer and see if it can handle the program. Both V8 and V9 require that the computer have a good video card.

I believe the version you listed is an OEM one that usually comes with a hardware or system purchase. Meaning, it will have some limits to it's functionality, so the pan & Zoom may not be available in your version. Is the version your brother has the exact same one, or one he purchased?
