No Soundsoap?

This third party application which is included with EMC 9 Deluxe is not integrated into the 'Home' application of EMC 9. To access this program, go to :

 

START > Programs > Bias > Bias SoundSoap 2 > SoundSoap SE 2.1.

 

I just purchased and downloaded EMC9 Deluxe. It did not install Soundsoap at all. I had no option to install it. Does it come with the download version? I did get a serial number in the confirmation email, but no software.

 

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

That program is not integrated into EMC 9. Look at your Windows>Start>Programs to see if "Bias" is there. Sound Soap is under Bias. You'll need to finish the installation there and register.

 

If you can't find BIAS, look at Windows>Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add Remove Programs. Navigate down to Roxio EMC 9 and do a change then modify. Scroll down to Sound Soap and make sure that it was checked to be installed. If not, do so. Point the install to the download.

 

I did as you said, but in my modify choices there is no Soundsoap option. There is Sound Editor, but no Soundsoap?? Any help would be further appreciated!

Sorry, I'm not sure what to say. My version shows this.

 

 

 

 

It is possible that you have a bad or incomplete download. I'm not sure what size that download should be but perhaps someone who has downloaded it and has Sound Soap will let us know. What size was your download?

Least Chip feels left out on a limb.... I have the same problem, and I too show no SoundSoap at the modify installation menu!!!

 

I'm beginning to suspect its because I'm running Windows Vista, and somehow during the original installation, Vista figured that SoundSoap is not compatible - and may have tried (failed) and/or just vetoed the install.

 

It might be interesting to see if we could get some feedback from another Vista user.

It looks like the problem is Vista (shouldn't surprise me I suppose). I googled a bit on it and found this:

 

"...This product may not currently be compatible with Windows Vista or Intel Macs. Please check compatibility with manufactures before purchase (manufacturer link can be found at the bottom of the page)..."

 

It's for Sound Soap 2 (the full edition)

I think it's because it only works in XP.Not Vista,not Windows 2000.

Oh well. I'm sure there will be a solution in a (week, month, year, decade, never...you choose) or so.
