stephen.d.reid
How do you rip audio CD's in Toast? I must be missing something because I've tried looking everywhere I can think! My goal is to rip audio CD's to FLAC format. Thanks!
tsantee
With audio CD selected as the format in the Audio window click the + button. Select the tracks you want. Toast extracts AIFF files from the CD. Select the tracks you want to export to Flac in the Audio window and click the export button. I think I read where there is a bug in Toast 8 regarding ripping of Audio CDs, so until an update is available you might want to import the audio from the CD to iTunes and then use the Toast Media Browser to add the tracks from iTunes to the Audio window.
