Planorez
I want to uninstall Adaptec CD Creator 4.02 Standard Edition and Adaptec Direct CD from a Windows 2000 Professional computer. I am uninstalling it because of a conflict with another program I want to try. When I try uninstalling it, the Windows uninstall tells me it cannot uninstall all the files. When I try loading the other new software, it tells me there is a conflict as though I never uninstalled 4.02. I read in the other posts about a utility called Roxiozap. Will this work on the Adaptec version? If not, what else can I use to remove the remaining Adaptec files? Thanks, Planorez
Larry
Roxizap should work for you.
lynn98109
The URL for roxizap is http://tools.roxio.com/support/tools/roxizap.exe (NOTE: if you ARE using Roxio (Now Symantec) GoBack 3, unistall before and reinstall afterward. If you don't know what GoBack is, you aren't using it.) That, and other useful info, is in a post pinned to the top of the ECDC 4&5 Forum - http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=122 Lynn
