spin doctor 4.x

macleath

Question

HI,

Just upgrated to Toast 8... that app works great... some nice stuff

I am trying to use Spin Doctor for the first time... I like the idea and the features it seems to have, but I cant get it to work properly and am about to abandon ship on it... hopefully some one may point our fixes or Roxio can fix some bugs that keep this thing from working right on my Mac

any insight to the following:

- the help for spin doctor goes to general support page and I can't find any documentation how to use the program

- I can't get the auto define to work despite trying suggested settings and experimenting and resetting.

- only 1 channel plays back from my mac despite the same files playing back correctly from bias and iTunes...

I have a Power Mac dual 2.5 G5 Mac osx with version 10.48...

something funky seems to be going on... must be about the full moon...

Any help is appreciated.

I don't know why the Help menu isn't working on your Mac. You can access it the hard way. Control-click on the CD Spin Doctor application and choose Show Package Contents. The go Contents>Resources>English.lproj>CD Spin Doctor Help and open CD Spin Doctor Help.htm to view it in a Web browser.

Same here. Selecting CD Spin Doctor Help goes to the page you mention. No documentation.

No such file or folder exists in the location you specified. I purchased the downloadable version of Toast 8, not the physical CD version. I wonder... :glare:

Interesting. When you say no such file or folder exists, how far did you get through the string? Was there an English.iproj folder or a CD Spin Doctor Help folder? Mine is installed from a disc.
