It 'breaks' version 5, 6, and 7. ( And yes, I'm blaming it on IE 7) Now if you don't want to try that, go to the website of your CD burner and see if there are any updates. However, until you remove IE 7, I don't think you're going to have much success.
gi7omy
For a start - get rid of IE7 - it wrecks the program. Update your video drivers to the latest from the card maker's website

Some folks have found a way to make it work, but it won't work with IE 7, even if you find a way to get it to work with XP-SP2.

grandpabruce
I don't think it's version 5 if he bought it 2 months ago...... The OP said it was old software (another thread), but it may be the re-worked version 6 and not 5. The OP hasn't stated what version it is, yet. gi7omy
There were two versions of that red box program (which I think is the one he has) - one is marked 'Vista Compatible' and one isn't.

Larry
Purchased Easy CD and Dvd burning from Best Buy 2 months ago. cd Still don't know which of the two it is But if purchased in the time frame stated, it's likely the v 6 "Red Box", not the v 9 "Vista Compatible Red Box". In which case, as long as IE 7 is on there, it's not going to work.
