I had struggled for some time with creating my first DVD. It was actually 5 movies on one DVD. Each movie was created with VideoWave 9 and contained a mixture of photos, videos AVI and QuickTime, background music and random transitions. When I got near the end of the project I had one movie that for some reason always crashed at 99% complete. This was true if I burned to DVD or a folder set. I was writing to MPEG2 file format from VideoWave and then using MyDVD to create the final DVD.
After experimenting with outputting to a variety of file types I finally found that writing to the Divx file format from Videowave produced a product that did not crash MyDVD and did not seem to degrade the quality of the final product. Perhaps this approach will help others.
Lastly, I had great success adding a custom .ico file and an autorun.inf that launches a simple webpage when the DVD is inserted into a PC.
An autorun.inf as simple as this:
[autorun]
shellexecute=welcome.htm
icon=myicon.ico
Will display the welcome.htm webpage when you insert a DVD into a PC. It also uses the icon file to display your own custom icon when the user goes to my computer.

I also followed the advice of malatekid and found directions on how to create a data area on my DVD so PC users can have access to the photos I used for the movie. http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?...pic=10977&h.
