EMC9 Slideshow

J. Richard

Question

In creating a slideshow of mostly jpeg pictures, I would like to intersperse a few .mov files, but don't see how to do that. Maybe a DVD player wouldn't play them anyway, if it's looking for just jpeg files?

(I know I can create a video file of mixed pictures and movies, but the last time I tried that with an earlier version of EMC, the still pictures looked jerky.)

You should be able to add those mov files to Video Wave. Just add the movies just like the images you are adding. You must have the latest version of quicktime on your computer for mov files to work.. If they are from a digital camera, some people have problems with sound.

The jerkiness may be a function of the source of the videos and of your computer. Since you did not post anything about that (hint), it would be difficult to offer any suggestions.

Thanks - the mov files (sound & picture) are perfect on my computer; its the VCR & TV I was concerned about. So, it seem that I musy use VideoWave and not be able to run Slideshow with .mov files interspersed.

Make your project in Videowave and you can use stills and video together. It is alway best to put projects together in Videowave. Some people have had problems doing it in the slideshow option, you will find Videowave much more flexible.
