Hello everyone

Iam new at this so bear with me please.Recently i made a film on creator 8 I then tried to play the final copy on my windows media player but the player did'nt recognise the file say it was not supported or corrupted.Is there a solution for this.

any help would be greatly appreciated cant promise payment but my admiration will be quaranteed

Does the final copy play anywhere? How did you burn your production to a DVD?

Do you have another player to try the file on? If not, download the free player, VLC Player and see if it works with that. If not, the file very well may be corrupted.

What steps did you follow to make the film?

 

Read this and then tell us where your process for making the film differed from this one. This one is for V9 but it is the same in V8. Which subversion of V8 do you have? Suite or Deluxe Suite.

 

Where did you get the original video file from or is it a slide show?

What do you mean that you tried to play the final copy in WMP?

 

Are you trying to play the DVD through WMP?

 

You need to use a DVD playing program like Cineplayer or Cyberlink's Power DVD.

WMP doesn't natively play DVD's.To do so with WMP you need a plug-in.You can take a look here

Well thanks to you and the rest of the guys problem solved job jolly files playing great on media player.

Film quality good iam a happy bunny now once again thanks guys and it looks like I will be doing the sknis way from now on

Ihave just got in to this film making lark mainly for a game I play Il2 its a flight sim,and we need training video's so it looks like iam going to be tapping your brains again in the future
