Toast 8 install probem

I recently purchased Toast 8. I copied the files to my hard drive per the instructions. I launch Toast and when I get to the license screen and click continue, nothing happens. It just sits there. I've trashed the pref files, run DW 4, disconnected peripherals, etc. Any advice out there? I have an iMac G4 running 10.4.8

That's odd. If you have any Firewire devices connected, disconnect them.
