Data Disc Files are empty?

Roxiotreasure

Question

How can i see the files that were in an old project? I burn DVDs for the purpose of clearing my computer of memory space, but i want to see an 'archive' of lets say "DVD march2007".

I want to see what i originally burned but it only shows files that are currently on the computer- how can i see all the files burned?

Thankls

i do think that OS doesnt matter, nor DVD type

I open the My Documents/ My DVDs/ then i Open the Sonic file, then it opens the Sonic DigitialMedia Home. Then, for the file I have chosen, it only displays the files that are still existing on the computer, and the files that i have deleted from the computer do not show up on the list of files

how do i get a complete list of the files i burned to the Sonic DVD file?

when i open a project from My Documents / My DVD's, i get this message

Warning! The following files could not be found on your system and have not been added

how do i see the files in each project, even if its not on my computer?

You don't. If you deleted/moved/renamed any of the original files used in the project, like it says, it doesn't add them when you open the project. The project is just a series of notes (basically) that point to the source files. If they don't exist anymore, it in essence will throw those notes away.

It sounds like you may be burning multiple sessions to a disc and the prior sessions were not imported before burning the next one.

Since Sonic/Roxio have a variety of software products, and most of them contain multiple programs for burning data, if you could list what version of what product you actually have, what part of it you are using, and what options you used when burning your disc, maybe someone will have some suggestions for you.
