How do I add two background audio tracks.

Mimsmusic

Question

I am trying to add two audio tracks to my Video Wave production. But my production keeps synchronizing to whichever audio track I put on first. Do I put one clip on one track and one clip on another? Or can I put two music clips on one track?

Also how do I move the audio tracks up and/or down the production so that it starts at a different point. I keep trimming it by accident rather than just sliding it up or down the track.

This is a bit of a cross post to another category but I'm spreading my luck around!

TIA

YES--You can put two audio files on two separate tracks (make sure that all the audio tracks are available). You can also place several audio files on the same track, however they can't overlap. Just place them end to end. If the audio files are on separate tracks, you can move them along the track to where you want them to play.

Select the track and then 'grab' in the middle anywhere to move it along the track. 'Grab' the beignning edge or ending edge to 'trim'. You may have noticed that audio tracks seem to auto fade-in/out. Unfortunately, we can't change that. To 'cross-fade' the audio, just add a second audio into the narration or SFX track and then 'overlap' them. Double click on the audio to set the amount of fade-in/out of each audio track.
