re-installation of EMC 9

Maile

Question

I had the same problem with "certificate missing or corrupted". I re-installed and it appears to have

installed and even seems to go through the motions, but nothing is being accomplished. It won't

copy, burn, produce slide shows or any of the other myriad things it promises. I also ordered and paid for a backup CD, on February 17, which I have yet to receive. Does anyone know how to get through to Roxio? I have written to "RoxAnn" and have NEVER gotten an answer to any of my questions.

I assume that you are using the "Home" menu page in the program. Sometimes that does have a problem and many people do not use it. Me included for the most part. Try to open the individual programs via Windows>Start> Programs path. Do the programs open from there? If not, then there was something wrong with the install. A lot of people forget to shut off their anti-virus when installing computer programs. If they open, we can offer suggestions regarding the home screen.

Please post your computer specs. Does that computer meet or exceed the minimum specifications for the program; especially the video card. Are the drivers up to date and do you have the latest version of DirectX installed? Do you have the screen resolution set at or above the minimum?
