member
You should look through the items listed in Tips & Tricks. You may want to consider disabling D2D and trying the built in packet writer which is included in Vista… Same problem (different person) what is the built in packet writer which is included in Vista. All Vista wants to do is back up all files of a type (for example docs) it won't give any control over which files or folders or anything). Where would I find the built in packet writer option. I am still trying to find something good to say about Windows Vista (another topic, very sore subject).

You will have to search through its' Help files on burning to see what it has to say about it. "burning" or "format" might be a couple of good search words. Thanks, I have been learning that this is an unstable way to save data anyway. I would buy refurbs before buying Vista. Especially for networking.
