ndebt Posted March 8, 2007 Report Share Posted March 8, 2007 i am new to this site so bear with me -- i have had ecdc5 for quite some time and it has been working fine until about 4 months ago and roxio doesnt support it-- i get errors E80041898 write error (03/0c/00) E80041930 track write error - wait failed (t7123) E80004005 unspecified error please help i was using ie 6 and was getting this problem btw i have win xp sp2 512 ram, amd athelon 2.07 ghz +2800 -- had to get my computer upgraded but now i am using ie7 with same problem as before the burner sounds like it is stalling from time to time wasting my cdrs -- because it fails to burn completely. i really like roxio but if these issues are not going away i dont see why i should pay to upgrade it. please help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
lynn98109 Posted March 8, 2007 Report Share Posted March 8, 2007 First, ECDC 5 doesn't work when SP2 is added to WinXP. True, some have gotten it to work, but more have not. Second, adding IE 7 will break Versions 6, 7, 7.5, and 8 - so I don't think it would help with Version 5. If you have WinXP, you have built-in burning which may be enough for your needs.
