converting videos to ipod format

After selecting all the correct formats and destination....when the converting bar says 100 % completed, it just freezes and the box doesn't disapear, do i have to wait? if so, how much longer? i've waited about 10 minutes and the box is still there.

i'm using the "video compilation" under disc copier. i've tried both saving it to my hdd and also trying to transfer directly to my ipod however both times, after 100% completion, the box just sits there. i dont know if i have the directx updated, but will that be the problem?

Usually DirectX problems would be that it won't encode - but you could check by going to start run and type in dxdiag and it should say at the last line 'DirectX Version' - you need 9.0c

What is the destination and what program are you using in the suite?

 

Also, have you updated your video drivers from the maker's website and installed the latest DirectX 9 from Microsoft?

yes, i do have the latest version of directx 9.
