can not reinstall or uninstall 7.5

Hi I am getting the same error message as a lot of people "This package could not be opened....."I have had 7.5 EMC for about a year now....nothing but squirels for the whole time...(all my other software works fine).....part of the suite package is loaded and works, the other parts where disfunctional and now uninstalled. Is there anyway to get the software out of my system.....I have been researching this problem for the past 3 days, and I have tried just about all the recommandations posted here and at MS knowledge base. I have installed Xdrive desktop software just today...so I know its not a windows installer issue, I have also run CHKDSK, mucked with my registry and have gone round and round. My question now is there any phone support if so? does anyone have the number

Your computer doesn't meet the minimum specs for doing video work, so that is part of your problem. Your video card may be another part, but you didn't put that in your list of spects, so not sure.

EMC 7 won't work with Internet Explorer 7 on your computer.

 

Use the Add\Remove feature of Window to uninstall. Then use the Windows Uninstaller utility.

 

Some of the Roxio folders you might have to remove manually.

 

Then you might want to use a registry cleaner.

 

I don't think version 7 is supported by Roxio. They're on version 9.
