can & cann't burn

why, i had to reinstall 8 ..i couldn't burn a music cd ....

reinstalled as a custum .. as one of your helps here listed to do.

and the update.

ok , here's whats happening now... i can burn a data cd but not a

mp3 to wav. cd.

i can get the tracs and the burner shows everything the way it should ..

go to " click button to continue " then a box pops up with " encountered a problem and needs to close "

If you updated XP and installed either IE7 or WMP11 this could be causing the trouble.If you installed either try rolling back to the previous versions and see what happens.

What application are you using to burn the CD? Try using "Music Disc Creator". If you are familiar with the earlier versions of this program, then the music burning application has been removed from Creator Classic to Music Disc Creator. Also people that try to burn music from the Home page have reported problems.

 

Of course if your music is from an on-line source, there are DRM issues and you must burn the music to a CD using the program that you used to download the music.

 

 

i started all over again... found another post and did what they tried.

my audio cd for car or home .... is the only thing that doesn't work now.

But , i can make a audio cd in music disc creator. i can live with that .

this seems to me , from up-dating XP is when all heck happened.
