Code 34 Disc Full message

I have just copied 3 CD's successfully and now when i insert a blank CD disc ( Memorex) I get code 34 saying that it cannot write to disc because it is full. When I look at the disc info in Recorder tab it tells me that it is a blank disc. Does any one know what this is all about?

I haven't a clue why that is. However, I'd try shutting down the Mac, waiting a few minutes and restarting to see if it fixes itself.

it's taken a while but I discovered the answer! - It meant that my desktop memory was full. I emptied my trash can - which took over an hour to empty and i can copy discs now!!

 

Same thing is happening to me when burning a blank DVD.
