I am no PC wizard so perhaps this info will give those more technical some ideas to help me resolve the Buffer Overrun error I have had since 1/2007. As others have indicated, I performed the various Support solutions (i.e. hot fix, clean install w/Invalid Key promlem). I created a new user account in XP and have ran EMC9 several times w/o the buffer error. Yet, under my original XP account (administrator), I continue to recieve the Run Time buffer error. I am considered re-installing windows to resolve my problem. However, at least for now, I think I have a temporary solution.
Curious if the new account w/o the error provides additional solutions that could be applied to my administrator account & therefore not taking half a day to reinstall windows & assoc softwate. Thanks.
