Error message = MP4: no supported tracks found

I have just bought EMC9, my third DVD programme, and find it to be useless. Whenever I try anything with it I get the error message "MP4: no supported tracks found" which needs to be cleared three times before proceeding, having moved on EMC9 will then not allow about half the video files I have – they are a problem to no other programmes.

 

Any ideas? Help would very much be appreciated.
