Audiophile
When I use Music Disk Creator to burn a CD, converting WAV files to MP3, the filenames written lose any comma characters they may have. For example, Cheney, Dick - 20070115.WAV becomes Cheney Dick - 20070115.mp3 I've tested a simple export (non-burn) using the following file name in order to check other characters: foo,-'[0]#@!%123=3{P}.wav becomes foo-[0]#@!%123=3{P}.mp3 so it seems that only commas are singled out for deletion. Is there a way to "escape" the comma so it comes through on the burn? Oh-oh, it looks like apostrophes are stripped too: Cheney's Response.wav gets converted as Cheneys Response.mp3 Help! When I use Music Disk Creator to burn a CD, converting WAV files to MP3, the filenames written lose any comma characters they may have. For example,
Cheney, Dick - 20070115.WAV
becomes
Cheney Dick - 20070115.mp3
I've tested a simple export (non-burn) using the following file name in order to check other characters:
foo,-'[0]#@!%123=3{P}.wav
becomes
foo-[0]#@!%123=3{P}.mp3
so it seems that only commas are singled out for deletion.
Is there a way to "escape" the comma so it comes through on the burn?
Oh-oh, it looks like apostrophes are stripped too:
Cheney's Response.wav
gets converted as
Cheneys Response.mp3
