Can anyone help me????????????? Don't know why that doesn't work. Do you have a cd or a music DVD in the drive? Try using "Add Audio Tracks" and navigate to your cd drive. Does that open? Try using Media Import. Select audio and then the drive. Select what you want to import and the location. Then use Music Disc Creator to burn your cd or DVD. Also try opening Music Disc Creator from the Windows, Start, programs path. This has helped out in other cases.

cactus jumper
I too am having the same problem. This feature worked initially, then I had to do a clean install, data disc was not working (data discs would not burn properly). After the clean install, data disc works, but I cannot get the media selection window (in the music disc creator project window) to open by clicking 'add audio tracks' or by clicking 'import from CD/DVD'. Would really appreciate some help with this. Thanks Update on this problem. It is not only in Music Disc Creator the links to import audio do not work. The links on the project page in photosuite to 'open photos' and 'import from camera' also do not work. So far, in every application of this program I have tried, since doing a totally clean install, according to directions gleaned from these discussion boards to do a total manual uninstall then reinstall the software, the only way I have been able to add anything to any project window is to use drag and drop. None of the quick links to open import or add files work. Any ideas or suggestions? Anyone? Roxio!!!? UPDATE: PROBLEMS FIXED First I did another clean install. This fixed all the problems, except the media selection window not opening in Music Disc Creator. After exploring jeanrosenfeld's tip here, I began looking around in the registry. I thought, well the media selection window opens in DVD Music Assistant so I will compare the entries in the registry. Opened the registry by doing run - regedit - ok navigated to the proper register entries by clicking the pluses: HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Roxio emc9 MusicDiscCreator MediaSelector WindowRect (in the left hand window) values were 1213,390,600,480 I compared these values with the register entries here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Roxio emc9 DVDMusicAssistant MediaSelector WindowRect (in the left hand window) it's values were 100,100,606,480 So, I modified the values in MusicDiscCreator - WindowRect to 100,100,606,480 Exited regedit, did a restart, and presto, when I click Add Audio Tracks and Import From CD/DVD the media selector window opened just fine. Althought I have no idea how it got that way, the window size must have been too large for my screen resolution. Anyway, it works now. Thanks My system is: Dell Dimension E310 Intel Pentium 4 Processor 3GHz 2MB cache Win XP Media Edition 2005 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM at 400MHz ATI X1300 PCI 256MB graphics card with most current drivers installed.
