If it is actually a video, capture it to your hard drive, and take the .mpeg file into VideoWave, click on View, scroll down to Media Selector, and select Folders. Now, in the Media Selector view (upper right), browse for that mpeg, right click on it, and select Extract Image or Extract Audio, whichever you want to extract.

If it is an image, you can save it as a .jpg or .bmp, I think.

CURRENT STATUS 3/14/07

.

Copied whole disk to *.iso file with disk copier. Burnt DVD frm that. Both copies play on TV.

When I triy to use "Capture" to get it on my hard disks eparately to extract stills & video clips, it comes up withr error message about halfway thru.. It shows no files on hard disk in the designated folder. Just now I cant get it to run again so I can supply you with exact details.

It shows 3 vrsns of 1st pic on video under rcntly cptrd, but try to run it cant find the files.

just looked again & there was an mpeg file on my harddrive after all in a diif fldr. Its playing now. But it says the duration is my 29:45 seen at error, not total duration of 54min.

What can I do to leapfrog that error @ 29:54 min. Blue Hawaiian Helicopteers says that since I could Disk Copy orig disk, then Im not entitled to a new disk. "It must be my (ROXIO) software". Disk copy played all the way thru , but I couldnt get it to fastforward long enough to jump ahead to see if its complete.. Im gertting more & more confused/frustrated.

Guess Id better sign of & try capturing orig disk again. Thanks for yr help.!
