John at Roxio
You might need to make a small change to your user settings: The change that needs to be made is to uncheck the option for auto correct DST and then check the option for "Is daylight savings time in effect?" in your user settings. Once those changes have been made the time should show up properly.

Guest ml
It took me a minute to find this setting. It's under My Controls (upper right), Options, Board Settings. When you uncheck the DST option, the second option appears. Should we 'pin' this?

My 'Auto check DST' was already correct and I don't know why everything was ok. Strange, even 1 of my vcr's at home changed on it's own.

gi7omy
I have to go round and manually reset everything - the central heating, VCRs, clocks, cell phones - everything except the computer:( But that's not for another 3 weeks anyway

Beerman
Now that's scary. Does your VCR 'phone home'???????? Guess I'll have to go check mine....... I think it has something to do with one of those Guide Plus programs that somehow ties into the cable tv system. When I set it up a few years back it asked if I wanted to allow DST changes and I said yes. It use to be that you had to set up your tv and/or vcr to a public television station and let it stay there overnight. Supposedly, twice daily, PTV stations get and send a time stamp out. I thought the hurricane put an end to that here but I guess not.
