robbiesbutt9999
Im trying to burn stuff correctly onto a cd. I clicked on the date side menu and then data disk, put my music on it, then pressed the red button at the bottom right. So then the cd ejects and I put it into my cd player and it doesnt work. Did I do it right?

Did I do it right? Hi robbiesbutt9999, can you place a bit of info here on your computer like what you see at the bottom of my post , as it helps us find a solution for you first?. Then can you please put in the post the info of the type of DVD blank you are using, (should be on the disk blank to) Also what version of Easy Media creator are you using? regards Highlander

Did I do it right? No You can do that if you are making an mp3 disc but not an audio disc. Since you posted in the general area, and didn't give us any details ---for EMC V8 and V9 use Music Disc Creator and create an audio CD. If you have 7 or 7.5, I believe you use Creator Classic and again select audio CD. If you have a Lite version that came with your computer or with a burner, it may be difficult to help since there is no way of knowing what applications you have available to you. If that music is from an on-line store, you must burn the music to a CD using the program that came with the music (Napster, Urge, iTunes, etc.)

REDWAGON
Right on Lynn---No way can you play a music "Data" disc in your CD player, but Steve has the right suggestions to get a music CD burned, and that appears what the OP is trying to do.
