DVD Creation

Confused in Hartford

I'm soooooo confused. I don't know if my Easy Media Creator 9 (running on Vista) is not working or if it's me. Can someone give me a simple explanation to burn a folder (including sub-folders) from my hard drive to a DVD?

Thank you.

Are you using Creator Classic or RecordNow? I find Creator Classic easy. I strongly suggest the tutorials and the help files.

Yes I'm using the Creator Classic. I think it may be a Vista issue because I'm having trouble with other applications as well.

Are the other problems other than Roxio? If Roxio problems, what are they? Creator Classic should work just fine.

50% of the time when we first turn the computer on it freezes at the startup (black screen with the Dell logo and F2 and F12 in white in top right hand corner). I have to hold the on/off button in for a few seconds to turn it off then turn it back on. The scary part is this is a brand new computer (this is the 5th day we've used it).

Corel Snapfire stopped working. I couldn't open any pictures with it. Again had to reboot, then it worked fine.

Did you load EMC on it or did it come with it already loaded? Did this happen after you loaded software? There may be a conflict. If you loaded it, and have EMC Drag to Disc installed, uninstall it and reboot.
