Disable Media Manager collections?

Is there anyway to prevent Media Manager from creating 'collections'? I have never used them but MM keeps putting them in my face and I'm finding it annoying. I still have no idea why it's there in the first place. I'm perfectly capable of organizing my own files, thank you.

I think that it makes a collection whenever you create a production in VideoWave, but I am not sure. I don't know if it is possible to keep Media Manager from creating collections, but you can delete them. Just don't have it delete the actual files from your computer. Don't put a check in the box to the left of Permanently delete......

Lynn, I don't think that EMC 7.5 had the RoxWatch. I believe the version 8 was the first to introduce that unwanted intrusion.

Correct, you don't even get a option under custom install not to install it. It's listed under utilites.
