How do you import an ac3 audio file?

amby

Question

I tried everything I can think of, but I just can't figure out how to import or otherwise add an ac3 audio file into any DVDit Pro HD 6.3 project! I've used everything in the drag-and-drop interface as well as all the menu options, but DVDit ignores every ac3 file I have.

All I'm trying to do is to merge a m2v video file and an ac3 audio file of the same lenght to form a DVD (on disk or otherwise). NOTHING in DVDit will recognize my ac3 file, even though Roxio insists that it will do it.

Well, since it looked like I was on my own, after a great deal of frustrating trial-and-error, I figured it out.

You go to the Palette subwindow, select the Media tab, pick "Show All" in the submenu, then click the folder icon with the green arrow (the "Import Media" button) and go from there.

Sheesh.
