Editing in MY DVD

Rayi

Question

It seems that whenever I do any video editing once I am in MYDVD, things just get all messed up. I would go back and edit the Chapter titles, as well as edit a few things. Things are just not right. Chapters titles are right. Some titles are missing. Chapter menus lose their name. Any suggestions on how to avoid messing up your production? I was scrolling down to my production and then click the "edit movie" icon. thanks

Any editing to your movie/production really should be done in VideoWave, and yes that means you will have to burn another movie to use in MyDVD. Also note that if you edit in MyDVD and save, the project file in VideoWave will not be changed....it will be the "old" version of what you just edited and saved in MyDVD.

I like to create and the burn a "Final" product with VideoWave. I have an up to date project file, burned movie and .iso file that I keep for that Production.

As far as your Menu problems, I am a little confused on exactly what is happening there. Maybe a step by step process of what you did and what you are trying to accomplish would help clear my mind.

Go here: http://saknis.net/Roxio/V8-V9.htm **Download and read saknis's tutorial on "Anotated..Creating a Custom and Long Menu". This helped me to understand much better how the whole "Menu" thing worked in MyDVD and may help you find your answer there.
