Tried downloading this update using Safari and 10.4.9 . Sixteen hours on DialUp to download and it shows only 120 Megs. but click on it anyway and Stuffit Expander seems to unzip it with NO error reported but no file actually appears. Of course, sposed to be 137 Megs but it just stopped and showed as complete. Bum Deal irregardless as to whatever happened as I just got the Retail Box in the mail last week. I suppose someday I'll try it again.

Is there any place you could go where there is a computer with a high-speed connection so you could download the update there and burn it to CD?

The problem seems to be with Safari. Changing the browser to FireFox solves the problem.

We test the download process with Safari, Camino, and Firefox as soon as an update goes live. If you are not able to download normally, this may be either cookie related or because the referral value is being blocked by your browser or other security software.

It worked fine for me using Safari and OS 10.4.9. I don't have any custom settings in Safari's preferences and don't use any download enhancers.
