Hey folks, newbie Toast 8 user here (although I have used earlier versions and have used Jam in the past). Just looked up this topic in TFM, and am a bit confused on how to change gain of individual tracks.
On p.75 of the manual, under "Working with crossfades", it states that I can "double-click a track to display additional crossfades as well as other audio options, such as track trimming and advanced mastering options."
Well, when I double-click a track, all I get are disk and track info. How can I do something simple like change the gain of individual tracks? Do I have to use the Apple Audio Units dynamics processor? I recall Jam had some little volume sliders you could adjust. I was expecting Toast 8 to incorpoarate Jam's features, but it looks like it's a bit on the "LE" side of things. Even the product features section states that it incorporates "Roxio Jam pro-quality audio mastering tools." Where are they?
