xraymatt
When i go to open tivo transfer it does not ask me for media access code. It says tivo transfer cannot be found. Even after the upgrade. Someone please help me because roxio support has been worthless as far as support.
droolmouth
What in the hell? I went to TiVo Transfer and was prompted to upgrade my Toast Titanium 8.0 to 8.0.1. Being a Mac user, and trusting that upgrades have actually been tested by somebody before they are recommended to previously satisfied customers, I downloaded the 137 mb file. When it comes time to put the application in the applications folder, my Mac asks me if I was sure that I wanted to replace my application with the older one I was transferring. A red flag went up, but I was sure I had just downloaded 8.0.1, which is newer than 8.0, so I didn't believe my Mac, trusting that the people at Roxio are not complete imbeciles. (My mistake.) Now my TivoTransfer icon in the dock has a gray bar over it, and a search for Tivo Transfer comes up with nothing. It's not even an option in the Toast Titanium 8.0.1 window when I start the application. So I say again, what in the hell? Have I slipped into some dark Windows world in which upgrades don't work? One would think that Roxio would be embarrassed by this. All I know is that I want it fixed, with an appropriate apology for their incompetence. droolmouth
When you launch Toast you will be prompted to install Tivo Transfer. Thank you, freshburn. Without Tivo Transfer available, I never would have had reason to launch Toast. You should be commended.
pokerpro
I fixed it. GO to set up assistant and make sure the activation key is entered with capitol letters. Toast has never accepted my access key. I've tried in CAPS but it doesn't matter. My access key is only numerals anyway.
Lorene
I am having the same issue. Prior to the update I was able to use TiVo to Go. Since doing the recent update, to 8.0.1, it gives me the message "TiVo Transfer" can not be opened because it can not be found. When I opened TiVo after the upgrade it had me register all over, so I can only assume it fully installed. Are the shows I had transferred and saved still here on my computer? When setting it up I did make sure to have the TiVo To Go box checked. Where do we go from here? It worked fine before the update and now does not. Is there something that is missing since the new update? I am no unable to use it. Any suggestions? Thank you for your help-Lorene
