Enique
How do you enable the scene detect function in VideoWave? I have a MPEG file that I need to edit, and I only want to edit certain parts. When I right click on my file, scene detect is not darkened, so I can't use it. You need to be in the Collections View in order to activate that feature. It's the little blue book next to the folder below the Media Selector. itsme51
Almost, but not quite. You need to right click on the video in the Media Selector and choose Extract Image. That will work in both the folder and the collections views. Thanks now I know how to perform this task. Another new skill learned. I followed your advice and I was able to extract the images I wanted. However, although the video was very clear, the extracted images were blurry, slanted to the left and out of proportion. Any suggestions, please?

It's the little blue book next to the folder below the Media Selector. I am not the original poster but was reading new posts and found this one. Is this the feature I would use in order to copy a scene from a movie and save it as a jpg? My plan is that I would like to take certain scenes from a movie, convert them to jpg and print a hard copy photo? Am I on the right track?
