It keeps saying css encrypted

I need help. I have just brought a new MacBook and was told to buy Toast to burn some DVD's but all it does is come up with "The disc you have inserted is CSS encrypted and cannot be copied by Toast. If you are online now, click "More Info" for information about CSS encrypted discs."

I don't understand this can someone please help me burn these disc.

Are you trying to burn copies of commercial DVDs? Those are encrypted to prevent copying. We can't discuss ways to remove copy protection in this forum. You might find some advice in the Mac forum at videohelp.com.
