copy a movie on my hard drive to dvd

msorgen3

Question

I selected dvd creator and put a blank dvd in to my drive. On the screen, nothing shows up in the drive I selected. I selected the movie I wanted to be copied and the burn button is greyed out. I don't know what to do next.

I also have a few BIN file movies. I know I'm supposed to select the CUE file, but I can't find instructions as to what to do next.

What is the id string of your burner? (My Computer right-click > propereties > hardware > device manager > CD-ROMs >your burner - copy it exactly, with lower case and upper case, and spaces, EXACTLY.

It may be you have a combo drive - reads and writes CDs, reads DVDs. Buying burning software doesn't put the additional laser in the drive for DVD burning. But we need the drive info to check it.

If the movies are commercial movies, the software won't copy them. It is illegal to do so.
