Need more info.........Give us a step by step of what you are doing, details, details.

Maybe you can read some other post's so that you get the idea of what we are looking for. All we know is that you can't burn a CD. There are different programs in Version 7 that can be used to write a CD.

"I have a roxio cd burner on my new dell computer"

I didn't know that ROXIO made a CD burner. Or are you saying that you have a CD burner and that you have a Roxio program of some sort that came on your Dell computer. Many people that have a Dell computer have a basic version (not the same as the Roxio's program) of Roxio's EMC program that came installed on it.

Roxio doesn't make CD burners. What version of the Roxio software do you have?

Yeah, another one who doesn't understand there is a difference between a burner (the hardware that physically "burns" the program to the disc) and the burning program (the software used to create the data which is sent to the burner to burn).

Like people who don't understand there is a difference between the drive (the hardware that physiscally "burns" the program to the disc) and the driver (the information used by the computer to communicate witht he drive).

That kind of confusion causes communication problems :(
