Grrrhh... Electrical Storms

ggrussell

Question

We had a major lightening storm the other night. Was so bad that I actually unplugged all my computer stuff from the walls! Now my speakers are making all kinds of crackling sounds even when UNPLUGGED from the computer. Thank goodness it isn't my new Audigy 4 card. :) Guess it's time to shop for some new speakers and this time maybe something worthy of the new sound card. LOL

Check out the "Klipsch" online outlet store or their ebay store. They have great bargains on their speakers. The speakers tend to emphasise the bass if you like that. I bought the 2.1 system that looks normal (not the round ones) about two years ago and I could not find any damage. They were half price. They may still have some of the Star Wars design available.
