When I installed EMC 9 I had a variety of hangup problems if inserting transitions. I reluctantly did the clean install as suggested. On reboot the system is looking for an HP DigitalMedia archive .msi file that does not exist. I suspect that the original Sonic MyDVD Plus and other assorted preloaded Sonic software shared resources with HP's Media Centre software. Reinstalling the programs does not resolve the problem nor does choosing a restore point. The error message cannot be cancelled permanently and automatically reappears about every 30 seconds. It appears I must do a complete recovery of the orginal software that came with the computer. The system is an HP Media Centre m7570n model with lots of storage and Ram and a 2.6 mghz dual core processor.

Any suggestions before I do a system recovery?
Thanks
