I am currently using EMC 8 but a friend wants to buy software for making DVD's and wants to know if Sony, Pinacle or Roxio does the Best/Easiest job. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks

All of these consumer software packages are good; some more good than others. I've tried many of them but the best interface for the beginner and the more advanced is EMC. Remember that this is not just a video processing program but does have the audio, the back up and the image editing functions.

I moved from Studio to EMC because of the options and ease of use. I've alos tried Ulead, Cyberlink, Sony and Adobe Elements. I keep using EMC as my favorite program. (Not a commercial; just being honest :P )

A lot depends on the person's thought process. It the program fits the way the person thnks then it is easy to run. If not, there could be no end to dispair that "the program won't run the way I want it to."

Have your friend check to make sure the computer meets or exceeds the minimum specs and then download the free trial of EMC V9 . That download is lower on this forum.
