Editing DVD after saved

Sherilynca

Question

Hi I am burning picture DVD's with audio and after I put it all together and decide I want to change something it seems near impossible. If I just want to change a song or something it will not analyse again and therefore I can't save it. Am I missing something ?

Are you using EMC 9 or something else?

I bet that you are using the Slide Show Assistant that is part of My DVD. That's probably the worst application to do slide shows with. The best is Video Wave; the next best is the Slide Show Assistant that is on the right side of the Home Applications page under Utilities or CineMagic. However those applications and CineMagic use the word "assemble". Are you really seeing the word analyze? The later two are better because they do allow you to save the project and to do final editing in VideoWave.

Regardless, after you make the changes in the project, In VideoWave or MyDVD which ever you are using, go to tools options and delete the proxy files. That will get rid of some of those ghosts music and image files. The proxy files will immediately be rebuilt with the new information.

If that doesn't help, please some back and give us more detail on which application you are using and how did you reach that application. If you are using one of the Assistants or CineMagic, does the application have two steps to the slide show or three?
