Not sure what is wrong

Question

Can you guys help? I have a basic Dell system with a cd/dvd reader at D and a writer at E. The only software I've installed that might have a conflict are the Clone DVD products (they are simple and easy to for really basic stuff). Once I installed the Roxio product V9, I can see my D drive on my computer but it will not recognize a DVD when I put it in the drive.

E works fine as before. I know it's something that changed when I installed Roxio because I had played a DVD prior to install and then couldn't after.

Prolly just one of the wonderful conlficts that you guys have a simple work around for but I couldn't find the answer.

Thanks a bunch!

Ok. I installed the link given and I removed both drives and let the system reinstall them. My DVD still won't recognize that it has a DVD in it.

When I put in a DVD, the light comes on as if it's reading it but when I click on explore for my D drive it tells me to put a DVD in. I'm waiting long enough for it to load and it still can't see the DVD.

Any other suggestions?

Does Roxio give refunds?

Thanks,

Did you uninstall Clone DVD?

I do know CloneDVD conflicted with earlier versions of EMC but I don't recall seeing this mentioned in 9. You can try removing all drives in device manager and reboot to see if they are both picked up by EMC again.
